Nicholas Roberts Shares “Younger” Ahead Of Forthcoming EP
Rising indie-pop phenomenon Nicholas Roberts just released his latest single “Younger,” teasing a 4-track EP with the same name that will mark his first project in over 4 years. “Younger,” which explores ideas of love and personal growth, undoubtedly displays Nicholas Roberts’ best talents: infectious songwriting, tasteful pop production and great storytelling. The single is driven by bright guitar melodies, engaging vocal lines and organic percussion.
“Being young and in love is euphoric. I wanted to capture that feeling when you first find the person you know you’re meant to be with,” explains Roberts. “It almost doesn’t feel real. I have vivid memories of staying up way too late, sitting on the floor and talking about the future, and just being genuinely happy. This song is about the nostalgia of those pure moments with another person and trying to hang on to them.”
After losing his job at a tech company in 2017, the artist began working tirelessly towards making it in music, and 3 years later he has already amassed over 5 million collective streams on digital platforms, as well as prestigious features on dozens of TV shows on Netflix, MTV, Freeform, and more. With his latest release set to follow suit, the future is bright for the Orlando-based songwriter, with “Younger” forming a strong addition to a steadily growing and formidable discography.
