Sarah P. Takes On Madonna’s “Love Profusion” In A Brand New Cover
Being in the industry for more than 10 years now, Sarah P. is a multitalented artist and mental health advocate striving to positively impact her audience and the scene at large. She studied Professional Stage and Screen Acting, and joined dream-pop duo Keep Shelly In Athens, seeing massive success and embarking on multiple tours around the US and Europe. Since 2014, she has been focusing on her solo project, having released 4 critically-acclaimed albums so far.
Sarah P. always makes sure to showcase her forward-thinking approach to pop music, whether it is with her stunning originals or covers. Coming to Amour Records, she has just released an ethereal cover of Madonna’s “Love Profusion,” an emotional song taken off Queen of Pop’s 2003 album American Life. In collaboration with Berlin-based producer Minna Music, also known as Bibi Vongehr, Sarah P. manages to turn the original into an atmospheric pop gem, filled with vibrant synth work and impressive singing.
As Sarah P. explains: “Our world has been turned upside down for more than a year. Naturally, we’ve realised that we need to turn towards the more familiar, the constant forces in our lives – those who give us joy and balance in abundance through the simplest gestures. That’s why I chose this song – because it echoes more intimately at this moment in time.”
